InfoGuides: Advocacy
The PPAO has over the years received many calls and inquiries about various topics and issues related to mental health. We have been told numerous times that "it would be nice if all of the information was in one place so that I could advocate on my own behalf or at least have enough information to make informed decisions."
In response to this, the PPAO has developed InfoGuides on various topics that our clients and stakeholders have asked us about. These InfoGuides are for information purposes, are easy to read, provide helpful information and give you tips that will be helpful in your self-advocacy efforts. They will give you the information that you will need to get started. The InfoGuides will also help you to understand more about a particular topic or subject and will help you understand your rights.
If you have any questions about these InfoGuides please contact your local Patient Advocate or the PPAO head office at 1-800-578-2343.
